Health & Safety Policies

COVID Safety at our weekend events & residential camp

Below is our policy as of April 5th, 2022. This policy is subject to change if the number of COVID 19 cases begins to rise rapidly in Massachusetts.

  • Vaccination is optional but highly encouraged.
  • LARP Adventure Program respects your right to choose whether or not to get your youth vaccinated against COVID 19. However, we do request that you inform us if your child remains unvaccinated for health reasons so we can plan accordingly.
    • Vaccination does not entirely prevent the spread of COVID but it has been proven to significantly reduces some individuals’ chances of hospitalization and suffering from long-term side effects. For this reason, we may use stricter safety measures to prevent transmission to these youth during our events. These measures will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
  • Masks
    • Optional for vaccinated participants both indoors and outdoors
    • Unvaccinated participants are required to mask indoors. Masks will be optional outdoors
  • Multi-day Events:
    • We will conduct daily wellness checks on all participants.
    • Unvaccinated participants will be required to provide negative COVID-19 rapid tests at check-in as well as each morning of the event. Unvaccinated participants must bring their own antigen tests from home.
    • Unvaccinated participants are encouraged to purchase tenting tickets to events to reduce possible exposure in a cabin while sleeping.
