LARP Adventure Program Helps Unlock Your Child’s Potential!

We know how it goes. Your teen may not want to talk to you about what goes on at LARP. They also don’t necessarily care about the educational aspects of our program and the things we do to prepare them for college and beyond.

That’s ok, we’ve got you covered. Do you have questions about LARP or Gaming basics? Email Jenn!

Our program offers a supportive environment where your child can build social skills, develop leadership abilities, and gain practical experience in event planning and logistics.

Things they will learn in all roles:

Accountability: We believe self-care, family, and school come first, and understand that schedules and situations change. For this reason, we have a communication procedure, similar to what we adults are expected to use at work when using sick and personal time, that we request you follow. While we don’t track hours, we do require that students communicate promptly when they cannot meet their LAP commitments due to unforeseen circumstances.

Business Operations: LAP’s office staff uses Google Workplace and associated apps for collaboration, communication, and security. Students are given limited access to these digital spaces depending on what roles they choose to take on. We also explain the logic behind our filing system, naming conventions, and intellectual property security. As they find themselves in the workforce, they are likely to encounter many of the same or similar tools and policies that we use.
